Carlito Caribbean Cool's WWE debut vs. John Cena from WWE Smackdown (2004)

The vignettes had been running for weeks, and when Smackdown took the air, 4 years ago today, Carlito Caribbean Cool hit the ring and challenged WWE United States champion, John Cena, to a title match.

Kerry and Kevin Von Erich vs. Gino Hernandez and Chris Adams from WCCW Cotton Bowl Extravaganza (1985)

It was 23 years ago today and the Von Erich brothers Kerry and Kevin were set to step into the ring with Gino Hernandez and "Gentleman" Chris Adams, in a hair vs. hair match, at the 2nd Annual Cotton Bowl Extravaganza. It was World Class Championship Wrestling at it's finest.

The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels from WWF In Your House: Badd Blood (1997)

The World Wrestling Federation, for weeks, had been hyping the coming of the biggest and baddest steel cage match that we had ever seen. They were calling it "Hell In A Cell" and 11 years ago today the first one took place, between the Deadman and the Heartbreak Kid.

Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit from WCW Nitro (1999)

It wasn't about championships or feuds 9 years ago today, when the Crippler and the Hitman stepped into center stage live on WCW Monday Nitro. It had been a mere 5 months since the passing of Owen Hart and these two men stepped into the ring, in the same city where Owen died, for a tribute match to him.

It was 21 years ago today and WWF's Saturday Night's Main Event was on the air, and a classic rivalry was heating up, as the Macho Man battled the Honky Tonk Man for the Intercontinental championship.

Rob Van Dam vs. Rhino from ECW Anarchy Rulz (2000)

Kicking off the month of October with some Extreme action, we jump back to 8 years ago today, to ECW's Anarchy Rulz pay per view and an ECW Television championship match pitting "The Whole F'n Show" RVD against "The Rookie Monster" Rhino.
